  How best to convert HD 50p to SD 25p

  My question is rather simple, i have finished editing my edit , it was all on HD footage, now i am concerned that how i should render the project , should i simply give output a new small render size. or is there some other way in which we render project in HD and then convert that file into SD. thank you
