    I don’t know for sure, my guess from looking at the sunset-backed jumping clip in the second video is that it’s just the same clip laid down multiple times with an offset, then the edges of the matte are softened so they blend. Watch the water under the figures instead of the figures.

    Some of the effects shots look more sophisticated, like the rider was first rotoscoped then laid down in multiple iterations over a “plate” shot background. Fun stuff, but you wouldn’t want to use it too much in one video, you’d kill the magic of it. Effects like this get overused and turned into cliche’s very quickly.

    Some very nice photography on these, BTW.
