Hi guys, not sure if this is the correct place to put this BUT… We’re putting together an edit suite (online) and I want something that we can put external hard drives into easily, that’s ventilated and tidy.

We don’t want to see any cables all over the place.

Something similar to this but maybe not as industrial…
    Anyone got any ideas?

    Thanks,
    Sarah

CalDigit HDOne. Ships with drives, but you can always swap out with new ones. Raid 0, Raid 1, Raid 5…or JBOD (every drive as individual drives).

    I also use this:

eSATA…not as fast a connection as the HDOne. But both only have two cords…one for the connection to the computer, one power cord.

Pretty sexy looking – although we use g-raid drives mainly. the slim ones and the bulkier 2TB drives so we’d need something that can support them?
    Would this still suit?

You want something that houses G-RAIDS? There is no such thing. Other than a shelf. And you’d still need to manage all the cords separately.
