    Hey there guys,
So I’ve got a problem, I’ve shot a full day’s worth of footage on the canon 7D and turns out it has a hot/dead pixel that is pretty noticeable. I am using Final Cut Pro to edit and was hoping, by some stroke of god, that there was a way I may be able to mask the pixel or something…. I tested my camera the night before and it was fine, somehow within 12 hours the dead pixel appeared and I am across the country from where I purchased the camera so an exchange is out of the question… any thoughts?

    Thanks !

Every camera I own has a built it function that maps dead/stuck pixels.
Does the 7D not have this basic function?
There are plenty of plugins to fix this in FCP, including a free one.

I have a system, it has stuff in it, and stuff hooked to it. I have a camera, it can record stuff. I read the manuals, and know how to use this stuff and lots of other stuff too.
    You should be suitably impressed…
