In some horror movies, there are some techniques to transform faces of people into a horrible demon-like face. I can recall this kind of fx in “The Exorcismn of Emily Rose” When she was walking and people’s faces turned into these horrifying faces…

This is certaitly not a crossfade, but I guess is this a kind of Morphing? Does somebody knows how to do this kind of fx?

Can this be done in After FX?

Dunno the movie, but most likely it’s a combo of two-pass shooting and morphing. AE’s lo-fi tool for this is the Reshape effect, for more control you need to buy Re:Flex from RevisionFX.

Well… This is actually one of the first tutorial covered in the NEW Serious FX 2 DVD! I can tell you it is possible inside of AE…

If I say anymore… well you know.

    Thanks,
    Andrew
