  Horrible jagged color transitions on output!!

  No matter what I do I can’t get rid of these ugly (16 bits I presume) jagged color transitions!
  I checked on:
  use maximum render quality
  render at maximum depth

  The source is a 1920×1080 mov H264
  AfterFX reports it is in millions of colors.

  Just playing it on my desktop with a standard player it shows flawlessly.
  When I put it inside Premiere Pro, The preview window shows the jagged color transitions, and same goes for the renderings.
  I have tried various methods but all seem to yield the same jagged results .

  Any help would be highly appreciated!
