  • Horizontal placement of text in Text Generator

Maybe this is a simple setting that I am just overlooking and I have searched the manual and find nothing… I am trying to create a slate over black.

I choose Text Generator and paste all my information in the Text Box, however, it appears to be pasting from horizontal center on down and gets cut off, while the top half of the screen remains empty.

I really want it to be input from the top down so i tall fits on screen – I’ve tried all the controls and can’t seem to get it to work the way I would expect.

Under the controls tab, change the “y” value of the origin.

I don’t have anythign labeled “y” value under controls.

I have the Text box, then “Font”, “Size”, “Style”, “Alignment -> Center, Left, Right”, “Font Color”, “Origin”, “Tracking”, “Leading”, “Aspect”, “Auto Kerning” and “Use Subpixel”.

    Look @ the Y position.

I figured it out… The X/Y position is not labeled as such on my controls page, it is just called “Origin”, here is what mine looked like:

I adjusted the second value, which would be the Y value and it worked.

    Thanks for all your help.
