    Cowers,

Just started getting horizontal stripes in my renders out. Very strange lines streaking across the image at a variety of different heights and different colors.

You can take a peak at what they look like here:

Any ideas? I had something similar on some Color renders way back in 2008 that were the result of a video card on it’s way out of the world; I have a GTX 285 and a GT120, maybe the 285 is starting to go.

Any way to test it? It’s the only CUDA card I’ve got so I’m not sure how to swap it out with another without maybe going to buy one and returning it if it doesn’t fix the problem.

I’ve cranked render speed down to 1 and the error still shows up, in case that would’ve eased the burden on the card.

    thank you,
    Ch:H

    Hi Charles,

Can you please send your Resolve logs to davincihelp@Blackmagic-design.com

You can find the capture logs app at

    Library/application support/Blackmagic Design/DaVinci Resolve

If you double click it and mail us the file it saves.

I have an idea of what’s going on but I’d like to check the logs

    Thanks,

    Dan

Upgraded to 8.01 and that fixed the problem; should’ve tried that before posting 🙂

Does that jive with what you were expecting?

Loving everything about Lite and looking forward to upgrading to full resolve sometime soon, thanks for the speedy reply.

    Hey Charles,

What did you update to 8.0.1 from ?

This is the first version of Resolve Lite to be released?

    Cheers,

Put Resolve lite on my other machine, to load up the project and see if it was a bad video card, which made me realize that I hadn’t updated my main machine to 8.01.

Just as a little extra tip you can always keep the full version installer on your Resolve Lite machine and if you need to use the full version just grab the dongle from your main machine and install the full version.

Best thing about using a dongle is being able to grab it and move it easily 🙂
