I started having this problem a few months ago with motion. When I create multilayerd comps with a good bit of masking/filtering, I get this wierd horizontal shifting when I render in FCP. The work around has been to export MOV’s straight out of motion. Well I’m having to change some stuff for a comp I did a year ago. When rendered in FCP it jitters something aweful, so I exported it out and get the same thing. Any Idea what may be causing this? It was created in Motion 1.1 and now I’m running 2.0.1. I posted the exported video here(https://www.lapostgroup.com/clients/Matt/) so you can see what I’m talking about. ANy help is much appreciated.

    Hey Matt,

Jitter like that can be caused by exceeding the maximum image size for your graphics card. For a better explanation and some suggestions that might help you implement a fix, check out https://www.motionsmarts.com/tutorials/nutsandbolts/sizematters.html

    Good luck!

    Hey Matt,

What size (full-size, not scaled) were the images inside those layers? Each step in the compositing pipeline has to be handled by the GPU, so if an image
