    Hello,

Essentially I’m wondering how exactly to do this. I’ve created a 20 layer pre composed comp. I put it into a new comp, both are 3d, the compress box is ticked, that may not be the absolute correct name, nonetheless, i can’t seem to isolate the z axis to create an accordion effect. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

If you’ve collapsed transformations then you should be able to unlink the scale properties of the pre-comp (click the small link icon next to them) and scale the pre-comp on the Z-axis only for an accordion-like effect.
