    Hope this is okay to ask

    If I have a friend or associate send me a video file that was created in Final Cut Pro. Can I open it in Vegas and work on it? If so what extensions would work? .mov? or others?

    I respect the fact and understand that FCP and Vegas are very different programs so again hope its okay to ask this.

    I get MOV files from one FCP user all the time and never have any problems opening them.
    These are SD files so I’m not sure about HD and all it’s variables.
