    hey,

having this issue for a long time. it is something i would call
a hoover pipe. in my case its a bit different

i was close to solve it.

i just attached this image to show what is needed. dont want to confuse
with my own workflow. better to tell afterwards.

it must be controlled by 2 nulls where i can put stuff inside. the significant thing is that the pipe must take care of the rotation done by the nulls. so that the pipe is not colliding into the geometry of the nulls. puuuhh..

    thanks,
    Ronny!

    This tutorial might help: https://www.base80.com/index.php/2007/02/17/dynamic_phone_cord

    yeah,

i tried the hair dynamics contrain way before, and double checked it the last 10 minutes, it is actually a good way.

the bad thing is that this one still ignores the the rotation of the end controllers. even if i replace the linear spline with a 2 point bezier with large tangents.

not 100% what i need, but a strong fallback!

    regards,
    Ronny!
