    Hello,

So i have a Mac G5 with a 20″ flatscreen monitor. I recently set as my background image on my desktop a picture of The Simpsons and had it as my backgorund image for a little over a month.
I kept thinking that i was seeing dirt on my monitor, and i tried to clean it off with no luck. It just looked like random lines of dirt until, when i switched my background to a solid color, i could see the outlines of the Simpsons background. Not a full burn in of the simpsons, but some outlines of some of the characters.

I have no idea how this happened, and i’m wondering if anybody knows how to fix this? Is there a degauss for Mac or anything like that that might help? It’s driving me nuts as when i open webpages and work with Final Cut, i keep seeing he outline of the characters. Thank you very, very much for your help.
