hmc150 check card error – lost everything?
I recorded a wedding for a friend. Half way through the reception, a message appeared on the screen “check card.” I didn’t know what to do so I turned the camera off, switched to a new card, and kept going. Today, I’m finding that neither the camera nor my MBP will read the card. I’m super scared. I was paid to shoot this wedding. If the footage is lost, it will be a bad scene.
What to do?

Have you ever experienced this? I’m nervous that the first time I use the camera for a paid project and it lets me down. Tape has been good to me. Even my limited P2 has been good.

This program isn’t working because the card isn’t even being recognized by the computer. I tried to download their DrDD software and that doesn’t recognize it either. I think I’ll try a friend’s PC to see if a PC can at least see the card.
