Hiding icons for Lights
Posted by Mark Whitney on April 27, 2017 at 11:24 pmSubject pretty much says it. Using AE CS6 and can’t find anything in the docs about how to toggle the visibility in the comp window. Is this possible?

April 28, 2017 at 12:58 amHi Mark, the only way I know of doing it is ctrl+shift+H – but be aware that it turns off layer controls for all layers (bounding boxes etc.)

April 28, 2017 at 1:55 amAh. That worked. Didn’t last night. For what I’m doing that works fine as it’s a project using LUX . Not able to find that key shortcut listed anywhere so I better make a note of it.
Thanks Greg.

April 28, 2017 at 2:22 pmThis is not quite what you’re asking for, but it might be relevant to you. If you’re working with spotlights, you do have the ability to control the display of the spotlight wireframe. With your viewer panel active, go to View > View Options (Ctrl+Alt+U on Windows, Cmd+Alt+U on Mac) and set Spotlight Wireframes to either “Off” or “When Selected.”

Thanks.
