Hi Ive been having mean trouble ingesting media from solid state cards from my Canon DSLR, and also audio files into FCP. Can someone please run me through this?
Secondly Im terrified when it comes to syncing audio files to the appropriate pictures – how can it be done without much grief?
Lastly how do i complete my first basic colour correction?
I know this is a bit much to intake at once, but ive been craving to get my editing skils up too scratch – I would really appreciate it if someone would kindly run me through these steps. Big thanks.

Either buy Pluraleyes. Or hope that you have a slate for every time the camera started recording. With a slate you manually mark IN points at the slate hits, then make a group clip. Yes, this takes time. Want easy? Get Pluraleyes.

If you don’t know, hire someone who does. Color correction is an art and a technical skill, and is a full profession in it’s own right. There is NO WAY we can tell you, in a forum post, how to color correct.
