    Hello all

I will begin by saying I take full responsibility for ASSUMING anything

    ok
I’m running the new Final Cut Studio on my G5 (Dual Core 1.5 gigs of ram under os 10.4.9)
everything is fine all software up to date

and I’m working on a short project just like normal in final cut then I go ahead and export to compressor and BAM a new interface, new buttons, and folders

please don’t get me wrong I like the new features but it’s like getting into a rental car for the first time

does anyone have a quick tutorial on the interface or new features (free or for purchase doesn’t matter as long as it covers the material correctly)

thanks in advance for any help
    take care

It works almost the same as the old one. the only big twist is you have to actually click on “Batch Monitor” to bring that up once you submit the material.

What are you having a problem with?

    Hey Walter

Here’s some trouble *I’m* having with Compressor. I think I’ve found my way through the new user interface ok, but I get the same problem with the Compression hanging, and then telling me I’m about to overwrite an existing file. When I look in the log and the monitor, it looks like Compressor has more than on instance of the compression running.

It’s quite odd. And seems to be slow, too.
