    hey shane,

been enjoying reading your P2 blog…one thing that caught my interest is the way you used ichat to do a collaborative session. i have an isight camera but have never been able to get it to live up to the marketing hype…the video is always jerky and not condusive to showing video to a remote location.

i have feeling it might be something to do with upload speeds on our broadband connection….the marketers tend to always give the big numbers for download and the small numbers for upload are hidden on a back page somewhere.

id be interested in your experience with this method. how smooth was the video playback?

Video was about 15fps. Not fluid but decent. I have a cable modem connection and my producer has a DSL line. He was OK with the quality of the iSight as he has the footage full resolution on his system and knows it looks good. He was watching for story and content.
