August 8, 2005 at 9:56 pmMIDI is a parameter behavior. You assign the MIDI behavior to a parameter by right-clicking ont he parameter name and selcting MIDI.
It will go into learning mode and watch what key you press (and how hard if it is a velocity-sensitive controller) or controller you adjust. It will then switch modes to respond to changes. You have to activite the auto-record button to record your changes.
All explained in my INSIDE MOTION 2 dvd from Magnet Media (www.digitalmediatraining.com).

You may have missed it. There’s about 3 pages on the MIDI beahavior and how to use it starting around page 357 in the Motion 2 Manual… Hope that helps.

August 11, 2005 at 6:02 pmIm doing a live video production with mainly cool visuals being projected on a screen. Was wondering if Motion 2 would be a good alternative to using a playback deck, is this thing ready for LIVE production? Cant have this thing crash while some band is onstage….that would be unaccepable….anyone tried this yet?
