How would I create the titles just like they do in Heroes… the TV Show? I’m talking about the episode name titles…I am good with Premiere but somewhat new to After Effects.

    thanks a million.

Never saw it, but it sounds like a lot of motion tracking and corner pinning — and displacement layers based on the tracked quicktimes —- or just some clever photoshop still work —

Methinks Nicholastoth is correct. And if part of the title is obstructed, say when someone walks over the “Cheerleads” (episode where Sylar goes to the highschool), just rotoscope or use masks on a dup layer.

“Save the Cheerleader, Save the World”

I appreciate all the responses. Perhaps, I should’ve posted to the Basics forums because although I am familiar with the terms you all are using, I don’t know if I can perform these steps without a bit more detail…

I’m also on the camera tracking wagon for this one. In some episodes you can even see that the trackers slipped when the titles reach the edge etc.

Check out https://www.ssontech.com/learning.htm which is a FAQ on camera tracking by a company that wrote a very affordable and usable camera tracker and also now support AE imports of the camera data. If you watch the video tutorials you’ll hopefully quickly understand the concept behind it – faster than me writing pages of explanation 🙂
