Here’s a new MAJOR bug in FCP7…

Export clips as an FCP XML version 2 (or version 1) then reimport that XML … the clip references generated by the XML import should then be recognized by Log and Capture.

Just worked for me anyway

One more for luck, Wayne. Just tested with a simple Batch List export and import … it also worked a treat for stripping out that pesky metadata that makes FCP do its Log an Transfer thing.

Thank you, Andy. It’s great to see that someone else finally this out. We also figured out the Batch Export work around.

Apple dropped the ball on this one.

Haven’t tried it out but if there is a solution I have to say thank you forum (that’s why to check back we help each other)
