WORKING ON 2X2.66 GHZ DUAL CORE INTEL WITH 2 GIGS OF RAM LATEST FCP WITH UP DATES
THE QUESTION: I WAS IN SOUND TRAK AND I WAS PULLING OFF THE TABS LIKE WALTER SUGGEST WE DO IN FCP ALSO I LIKE TO REARRANGE MY WINDOW FOR MY OWN LAYOUT. I THINK THIS TIME I PULLED OFF ONE TWO MANY TABS. NOW MY SOUNDTRACK LAUNCHES WHEN I START UP THE COMPUTER. BUT HERE IS THE THING THE LOGO JUST SITS THERE AND NEVER GOES AWAY. ALSO IT WILL NOT OPEN AND I HAVE RELOADED THE SOFTWARE BUT I DID NOT THROW AWAY ANY PREFERENCES BECAUSE I DO NOT KNOW HOW OR WHAT. BUT I AM DEAD IN THE WATER AND I REALLY WANT TO WORK IN MY SOFTWARE. BUT I KEEP GETTING THIS WARNING PROMPT THAT COMES UP:

    NSImageCacheException Can’t cache image

DO I NEED TO THROW AWAY SOME PREFERENCES?

CAN ANY ONE PLEASE LET ME HELP I REALLY NEED TO FIX THIS?

    THANKS ALOT IN ADVANCE

NEVER type an entire message in all caps unless you are really pi**ed about something. Seriously, it’s offensive to the eyes.

That said, try trashing this folder:

    disk//Library/Application Support/Soundtrack Pro

Where “” is the short user name of your home folder. After you pitch the aforementioned folder, try launching Soundtrack Pro again and see if it fixed it.
