Help with Video quality
I just recently got Vegas, so I’m fairly new to the program. Anyways, I’ve been using it to make random videos, and when I save the videos, they have this weird lingering/ghostly effect to them. I’m not 100% how to describe them.

(I recommend watching in high quality)But yeah… the animation and movement kind of lingers. It shows where things once were and they gradually disappear. Its really bugging me, my other video editing program didn’t do that.
Anyone able to help me?

It looks like you are capturing your video at a slower frame rate then you are rendering it in Vegas and therefore Vegas has to “make up” the missing frames. For example, if your captured at 15 frames per second and output at 30 frames per second, Vegas would have to make up half of the frames by blending two frames together to approximate the frame in between. The blended frames would cause ghosting like you are seeing.
The solution is to capture and output at the same frame rate (i.e., use a render template with the same frame rate as the source). It might be a good idea to set your project up to use that same frame rate in the project properties to. This way everything always stays at the same rate.
