  • Help with output Settings (Rendering AE)

I did a Render of composition setting as 1920 by 1080 widescreen 1:2.
OutPut setting as quicktime with photo jpg. Best quality then clicking the option button and checking off both boxes.

Question: Is this the proper setting?

Will the complete Render Play on all computers. ( It’s an MOV.)

“If you need to convert it to a more compressed format that WILL play back smoothly, I suggest using a third-party compression application to turn it into something like h.264.”

Thank you for your response, I am very much new to this, so I’m kind of slow to the tech terms.

I’m assuming a third-party compression is to use another program to convert the codec to h.264. If so what do you recommend? Also which is the best quality render?

Just to let you know what I have tried:
I’m using AE CS3 and used the output as H.264, Format: Bitrates=29.97, High and 4.0, but it come out to be choppy and lately be getting Error: Low in memory
So that’s when I tried QuickTime and format compression H.264 but recommend me to use H.264 as the main output

I have done some research and found that it’s do to a “Black Hole” but I don’t know if it’s something I’m doing.
