I’ve got a motion background running behind some buttons on my encore menu. Previews great, even looks good when I burn the disk and play it on my machine in Windows Media Player.

When my co-workers preview it on their machines in Windows Media player, all of the menu items look good when they first play the DVD. Once you mouse over to select anything on the menu, everything becomes pixelated with the exception of the motion background. The text looks really crappy until you go into an item, play the video and then return to the main menu…which looks good until you mouse over it again.

Anyone out there have any ideas on how I can resolve this issue?

It sounds like you are having issues with how the subpicture highlight looks.

Go into the Menu Color Set and create a new, editable set from the Automatic set (which is not editable). Then play with color and opacity until you get a look that you like.

Changing the subpicture set of colors has has no effect.

I have a title in large text, beneath this there are 6 buttons and beneith this there are two logos. The Title text and the logos are not clickable items.

Behind everything I have a motion background that is moving.

When I mouse onto the live area of the Media Players window, all of the items…the title text, buttons and logos become pixelated.

I’m open to any and all suggestions of things I can try.

I have the same problem. How did you resolve this?
