    Hi, I filmed a wedding with Sony Pd150 with the following setting;

    Rec ch Select: Ch1- Ch 2
    Input level: Mic
    +48: ON
    Input level: Mic
    +48: ON

    I placed a wireless mic lavalier on groom i checked the sound volume while filming and saw the bars moving. When I checked the tapes at home I could barely hear the vows of the bride and groom. I tried raising both channels to +12 and their vows are stil unintelligible. Is there a way to rescue their vows. What did I do wrong and how can I fix it? Thank you so much!

    First the moving bars means nothing. Look in the manual and see where -12 db would be on the scale of the bars of your camera. This is where you should try and maintain the levels during your recording.
    and never even try to record audio without wearing good headphones

    Good Luck
