Help with importing transparent backgrounds from Photoshop
Hi
Im making a 2d animation actionmovie, and i need some help fast!
I painted the blood that my characters is going to spray his surroundings with in Photoshop Extended, where it is possible to draw on a sequence of images. I painted the blood on a transparent layer, and now need to import it to After Effects. I tried both rendering as a sequence of images and saving it as a psd, but there is always a black background when im importing in AE..
All help appreciated 🙂

I have a similar problem with a photoshop file which has transparent background, but when imported into After Effects the background becomes a solid white color.
Have you had any luck with this situation?

Here is something to try:
With the composition or specific layer of interest selected, hit the “toggle transparency button” which is a small gray and white checkered button at the bottom of the composition window.

have you found out how to get rid of the white background when importing transparent animated gif?
