help with FCP 3 and updating to OS 10.3.9
I know I should probably just get a new system… 🙂 BUT (!)
I want to update my OSX to 10.3.9 (from 10.3.3), so that I can run other apps that require it, but I remember that when I did that once before certain functionality in FCP3 was lost…
I can’t remember exactly what went wrong, but I seem to recall some capturing issues and so forth…
At any rate, anyone who knows anything about this please HELP!

I’d suggest that you look into getting an upgrade of FCP to 5.1 and you can run OS 10.4.8 on your G4. I have one in our facility that I use for compressing video to DVDs. It has all of the latest software and it runs just fine.
