Help with creating chapters from FCP 7 for Toast 10
I shot 4 videos for an organization thinking they would each be used individually. The folks are now asking if I can create a DVD with a menu for their clients to select the video they want to view, based on their needs (it’s for end-of-life decisions).
I have only used Toast to burn single DVD’s and have not done menus before.
Should I put each video in the timeline of FCP, separating them with a Chapter Marker (mm) and export the whole thing as a .mov, then bring it into Toast?
From some of the forums I’ve browsed, there seem to be issues with marker placement, chapters out of sequence, etc.
Can any of you fine people provide a quick tutorial to get me through this until such time as I can delve more deeply into the process?
I’m doing this pro bono (a friend is part of the organization) but they’re asking for a quick turnaround.
