Hi I am a new Prem user. I have cut my clips into the Timeline and done the transitions. Looks nice (to me anyway)… I have added a soundtrack onto audio 2 and would like to adjust the volume of the audio 1 track up/down at certain points. Can I do this in Prem? Thanks in advance from a newbie….

It will serve you very well to get into the habit of making full use of the on-line help in Premiere Pro.

In this case, have a look at ‘Mixing Audio’.

The key topics for directly manipulating track volume on the timeline are:
    opening up audio tracks
    volume and panning ‘rubber bands’
    use of audio keyframes
use of the pen tool to manipulate rubber band control points, including use of modifier keys

An alternative approach is to use the audio mixer – select the audio workspace and dig into the help again.
