  help with 16:9 ratio

  I have two cameras i need to video with, the trv70 does a true 16:9 widescreen. But my other camera just clips the top and bottom to give it widescreen. I will be bringing in clips from both cameras. I must open project in widescreen format to capture the trv70 video, But what do I do with the other camera? how can I splice clips together? I know the quality will be slightly different.

  Has anyone done this sort of thing? Any input would be appreciated.
