  Help! Weird audio capturing from Canon XLH1

  Hi FCP gurus!

  I need some help. I am trying to digitize from a Canon XL H1 camera into FCP (vers 5.0.4)… I had originally set it up with an “easy setup” to HDV-1080i60. With that setting, it seemed to open up the log and capture window correctly. However, when I had the tape running and selected the “capture now” button, it would open a digitize window, play the tape from the camera and even though I could see the playback the message “WAITING FOR DATA FROM DEVICE” wouldn
