  HELP! Trouble with external monitoring of 720p DVCPro HD footage in Final Cut Pro

  Hi,

  I’m having trouble getting real time playback in an external monitor with a Final Cut Pro 5 sequence using 720p DVCPro HD footage shot at 23.98. I can view individual frames in the external monitor (JVC TM-HI950 with SDI inputs) but I can’t watchdown my sequences or footage. I am also using a DeckLink HD card. My OS is 10.3.9.

  It would seem that it’s an issue with the settings but I can’t seem to find the right combination. All help is very much appreciated.
