HELP – TITLES SOFTENING IMAGE
My footage is going soft when I put a title on it. It always happens with a DV clip in an NTSC BM 4×3 timeline in Pro 2.0.
You can see the image resize a few lines for the duration of the title. It is like the 486 line title is scaling to 480 lines and scaling the underlying footage as well.
SORRY FOR SHOUTING BUT I can’t be the only one who has run into this. Now we have a stable application but catastrophic bugs. I can’t figure a workaround for this.
My list….
Firewire won’t work unless I disable the decklink driver. (Even in an Adobe DV job)
DV footage goes soft if you put a title over it…or even put transparent video over it.We have four different systems so it can’t be the computer….

It actually looks like the footage is being deinterlaced for the duration of the title and going soft as a result.
