  • Help! Problem with masks

I’m posting this again as I am desperate to find a solution.

I’m having a strange problem where the mask goes out of sync with the video when I render out files. I can RAM preview the file and it’s perfect. Any thoughts?

I’m in AE7. The file is a 23.976 1920×1080 file. I’m on a G5 2.7GHz, 4GB ram. The intermediate codec is Microcosm. (And yes, they are Hold key frames for the mask.) There are no time effects and the footage was sequenced 16 bit photographs rendered out in HD as a QT movie using the Microcosm codec.

Oddly enough it works perfectly when using the Export settings, problem is I need 16-bit intermediate files and there are not settings that allow this in ‘Export’.

PLEASE HELP. (I AM BESIDES MYSELF. I HAVE A LOT TO DO AND THIS HAS SUDDENLY CROPPED UP!!)

    Thanks.

Can you post some images somewhere that demonstrate the problem?
