    please help me,
i’m trying to make a video in sony vegas 8.0 but my video fx (effects) do not work anymore. I can still add them to a clip + choose the details (like how many % i want it brightend), but there is no result at my video. i can add 20 effects without anything changing to my video 🙁 i am not that good with computers so please try answering me in an understandable language 🙂
    thanks already.

On top of your preview window, you will find several icons. The fourth from the left is the SPLIT SCREEN VIEW button (a square with a black circel inside).
When you click on this button, you will inactivate it and your effects will become visible.

On the right site of this button you will find a small arrow pointing to the bottom. If you click this one, you will see that you had choosen for the option FX BYPASSED, which makes all your applied FX invisible.

to the far left is your track bus fx, right above your slider for your opacity, did you install a cookie cutter there, also go to the view menu and open your video bus track, is there anything installed there, are you runnung a parent child track, one of these should work
