WOW. First I would like to say Thank you all for your input.

I guess my next thing to settle is..

Ok I want to capture/edit my HDV footage in FCP and EXPORT

I then want to do effects in AE CS3 on my PC and then Export

With my Final export being in HD for the web.

Any suggestions?? I heard No H.264, VERY BAD?

So, Please correct me…

I will Capture – HDV 1080/24p and edit CORRECT?
Then I will export to what? For play/edit on AEcs3(PC)?
Then export my AEcs3 to what? (For uploading to the web in HD)

If someone could help me with this. I may be on my merry way, and I will not have to bother you guys anymore. haha

When you’re out on a shoot, and you say, “we’ll fix this in post” without knowing PRECISELY HOW you’re going to fix it in post, don’t shoot it! You’ll only end up shooting it over again. “

Consider adding the following:

Since post typically costs three times the cost of production, fixing something in post is not a way to save money, but rather a way to spend more of it.

And, before you say “well fix it in post,” always consider who’s doing the work, especially if you’re the one doing the editing.

Thanks for pointing me this.
Normally I’ve been exporting from AE with Uncompress, Proress or so.
I wasn’t aware of the limitation of AE for web compression.
Good to know it.
