HELP! phantom keyframes
I have been having the strangest problem with animation. Objects will move between identical keyframes. Has anyone dealt with this problem? What can I do to avoid it? The keyframes are exact matches and there are no keyframes between them but the objects will move away and then back to the original position between the two keyframes.

If it’s Bezier keyframes, the interpolation will do that.

change the default spatial interpolation to linear.

Solution 1: Set first keyframe to a Hold keyframe.
Solution 2: Select both keyframes, then in Animation/Keyframe Interpolation, make sure all are set to Linear.
To avoid in the future, set “default spatial intertpretation to linear” on in preferences.
