help needed ASAP with xd cam transfer
I want to import files from a sxs card in my computer.I am working with macbook pro, leopard.
I have installed FCP 6.04, and all the other software updates but i keep having this problem:
whenever I instal a version of xdcam Transfer, it cannot open and it quits unexpectedly all the time.the strange thing is: the first time I installed the transfer media it opened, but it didn’t work because it said that there was no media. So what i did was put a lot of quicktime codecs in my liberary quicktime map and upgrade every software that I thought was needed.
but now, whenever I download a version of Transfer, even the latest, it “quits unexpectedly”.

Did you install the SxS driver (SxS_Device_Driver) down load from Sony.
Also sometimes if you drop a lot of codecs into the QT folder, it can lead to problems.
Trash the prefs files for transfer app.
