  • Help, my burnt DVDA project won’t play on dvd player!

I have no idea why my dvd won’t play when I put it in a dvd player, it’s said loading for a minute, and then said bad disc. Personally, I don’t think it’s a bad disc because I’ve wasted almost 10 blanks dvd with different brand name. My project is about 4 hours and 30 minutes long, and I divided into 3 parts each last about 1 hour and 42 minutes. I rendered each part and named it as dvd01,dvd01, and dvd03. I created simple menu and submenu for each including background music. The finished burnt DVD01 play just fine, and I’m now stuck with this problem for dvd02. If the file exceed the maximum capacity of the dvd media, it would have indicated otherwise, but it didn’t. Before I burnt it, it didn’t show any error messages, but it shows only warning messages such chapter maker is too closer to each other, and music will be recompressed. I don’t think these warning messages are the causes for it not to play, or would it? After I burnt it, it also said command complete without error. So, this is the kind of problem I’m having and I don’t know how to figure it out. Does anyone have any suggestions? I’m using a DVDA 1d version..

awhile back i put 4-6 hrs on DVD .. for a few of the sections i had a 1,500,000 data rate , some sections 2,200,000 data rate .. i found that on some DVD players the 1,500,000 sections would NOT play. i believe the min recommended DVD data rate is 2,500,000.. rates below that fall into SVCD-VCD formats …
