okay, so I have this school project. I’ve made a movie in Sony Vegas, and now I want it on a DVD, but I have no idea what options to choose…! I suppose I have to render it and then burn it with another program…? am I right?

we used a HD camera when we filmed it, one from canon, i don’t know the model name is tho.

anyways, my move is about 8 min long and and I want to get the best quality possible on a DVD. I have the trial version for Vegas Pro, and yeah I want to have good quality on my movie, so if anyone could tell me step by step what I have to click om, I would be very happy!

I have to hand it in by Monday morning, and now it is Friday evening here…

    help me out here? 🙂

You won’t be able to do it with the trail version because I don’t believe the MPEG2 encoder is included due to licensing. I would render out to DV Widescreen AVI (use the Video for Windows type and the NTSC DV Widescreen template). Then look for a trial of a DVD authoring program. 😉 Maybe TMPGEnc? (good luck)

    John,

The mpeg2 encoder for DVD Architect Video is on the trial download. I’ve been using it for the last week. I haven’t used the trial download of DVD Architect so I don’t know if the OP can download everything needed to make a final DVD.
