Help! Imported Images are cropped
when I import image sequence into Motion they are being cropped and I can’t figure out why.
The images are a .tif sequence and are 720×480, just like the project is.
I’ve checked all the settings under “media” and they seem to be right. The crop values are set to zero.
When I douuble-click the preview window in the Media tab, or “open in viewer” it generates a preview that shows the entire imagem, with the correct aspect ratio, and no cropping or stretching. However the preview window thumbnail even shows the image as being cropped and stretched.
HELP!

What about the scale properties? Also make sure it’s not in a layer that already has some cropping applied.

I think I have figured it out.
I’m not sure why, but it seems that the “.tif” extension is causing it to crop and stretch the image. If I batch them through PhotoShop and change them to “.tiff” they go into Motion as expected.
a little buggy if you ask me.
