  • help!!! export to encore mpeg2 dvd stutters on any TV!

    hey guys,

this is crazy! i couldn’t believe this happened to me! i was completely done with the film and i encoded it to mpeg2 on adobe media encoder, exported it to encore.

i previewed it and i noticed that it would stutter in the preview, like shake, especially in a pan shot, but i thought that was normal till encore transcodes it to the dvd.

anyways, i transcode it, burn it, and it plays fine on the computer. so i take the dvd on the TV and it stutters every single time unless there’s not a lot of motion!!!

why would it play perfect on the laptop dvd and not on the TV?

the only thing im thinking is that on adobe media encoder, did i not encode it right? is there an option that allows me to change the frame rate?

i picked ntsc 4:3 8 meg high quality cbs 1 pass

but i dont remember if it had an option to change the frame rate which i think is the only solution to the problem?

please, any help would be greatly appreciated, i leave tomorrow out of town and i had to have this ready by today!!!

    thanks in advance,

    Vin.

What was the source footage for your film, like NTSC DV avi at 29.97 fps, captured via firewire from my video cam and what project settings did you use

Interesting, but there still is the same lack of information, you don’t say the source footage for your project, what your project settings are and system specs, good luck with your problem.

Did you use a preset or custom when you created the project, ex: NTSC DV Widescreen
