Help: Editing. Blotching things out.
Is there a way of actually blotching/getting rid of something on your video. Eg: Just a few squares on the video or anything. So i’m getting rid of a little bit insted of cutting/deleteing the whole clip. This is sort’ve hard to understand so, if you need anymore information. Email me. ~Azzabaker11@hotmail.com~

Yes there is. Probably the easiest way is to use the Sony Cookie Cutter FX and have it cut out a circle or square or other shape in your video revealing the track below. Then just put whatever you want to replace the area with on the track below and you’re done.

Thanks for the feedback. 1) Where do i get this ‘Sony Cookie Cutter FX’ Software from? As far i can see with My Sony Vegas 7.0. I haven’t got the software. Reply back Asap.

Go to your Video FX tab and scroll down the list until you see Cookie Cutter and select it. Then in the Preset window select Circle Cut Out, Center, Blurred and drag and drop it onto your video. Adjust as needed.
