    I am doing some 2D character animations at 12 fps and exporting them out of Photoshop as a PNG image sequence. I am bringing them into AE to finalize and add backgrounds. My comp is set at 24 fps. I need to have the PNG sequence doubled up, or animating “on 2’s.”

    Is there a way to simply duplicate my PNG images while still keeping them in order sequentially? Like a duplicate frames option or something? I have searched in both PS and AE without luck. Help appreciated, thanks.

    Enable time remapping use this time remapping expression

    framesToTime(Math.floor(timeToFrames()/2));

    I don’t exactly know where to enter that formula, but I did apply the time remapping to the PNG layer, then I just dragged out the keyframe until the frames doubled up. Thanks
