  • HELP! Compressor is freaking me out “Unable to connect to background process”

Trying to export my project using compressor so I can burn a DVD copy of it. However, when I try it says that it is unable to connect to background process. What is going on? Can anybody please help me? Thanks so much,
    Matt

Failing that, and it sometimes doesn’t work, don’t use Compressor. Take a reference movie directly to DVDSP and let DVDSP handle the encode to MPEG2 for you.

This is my standard sigfile so do not take it personally: “For crying out loud, read the freakin’ manual.”
