I removed my final cut icon from my doc and now it has dissapeared from my application. What do I do. I can’t access any of my projects or open anything. And I am editing away from home so I can’t even reinstall the program. Anyone know what to do?

Irony has it that someone is selling a version in the post below this one. Your application should still be in the applications directory try to use spotlight to find it.

removing the shortcut from the Dock does not remove the application from your computer. Go to your Applications Folder and open FCP from there.

Once you find the Final Cut Application, click and drag the icon back to the dock, and that shortcut will again be available.

Don’t forgot, you always have Mac Help available (activate finder by clicking decktop, help menu, mac help.

Or just open the program from your Applications folder, then open it’s icon in the dock and choose “Keep in Dock”. As for Mac Help….. all I can say is thank goodness for the COW!
