    Help! Aspect ratio problem for FCP from DVX100a with anamorphic lens

    We shot a film with the DVX100a and an anamorphic lens. All is fine on the dvds, but when we went to blow it up to film, the aspect ratio is somehow changing from 1.77 to 1.98888. Has anyone ever experienced this? Any suggestions of what the problem could be?

    I don’t have a solution to your problem but I was wondering if you had any focus issues with the Anamorhpic lens, which anamorphic lens you used and if you used a Matte Box, and if so which one and did you have any vignetting issues with it.
