Goran, assuming the application is properly installed, this may be an OpenGL error. Is the application on a Windows or OS 10? What hardware — RAM, Video Card etc??

Try disabling OpenGL. Go to Preferences > Previews and turn off OpenGL.

Putting the subject in the subject line will generate many more hits.
However, posting the same topic again won’t necessarily get you any more attention if no one knows what to suggest beyond trashing the preferences file.

First time I’ve ever seen “new camera does not work” mentioned as a problem with AE.

This is my standard sigfile so do not take it personally: “For crying out loud, read the freakin’ manual.”

Goran, I had the same problem. Here is the solution:

In Windows XP go to: Control Panel > Regional Language Options > Click on “Customize” and change the “Decimal Symbol” from “,”
    (coma) to “.” (dot).

    This worked for me.

I am guessing you must have changed your regional and language settings from “English” to something else, just like I have.

    I hope it helps.

    Best,

    Mateusz
