    HDV1080i Capture – Vertical Lines/Stripes on Footage

    Hi,

    I really hope someone can help ASAP, as this issue is driving me crazy.

    I filmed some HDV1080i footage on DV tape, using an older camera that we have – a Sony HVR-V1E. However, when I come to capture the footage, there are vertical lines or stripes across the whole screen (see image attached to this message)

    I have tried every setting (that I know of) but nothing seems to get rid of the issue. The footage looks fine in the camera preview monitor, so I know it’s not the footage that is damaged.

    Please advise if you have come across this problem and/or know how to solve it. It would be MASSIVELY appreciated.
